These paintings operate within a field of internal activity, where movement, tension, and interruption unfold prior to any stabilized form. Built through layered surfaces and responsive gestures, the work allows lines and color to emerge without hierarchy or predetermined direction.
Rather than resolving into balance or equilibrium, the compositions remain open, holding a state of active suspension. Marks accumulate, overlap, and recede, sustaining a sense of ongoing movement where further intervention would not clarify, but disrupt what has already surfaced.
